Frappe is a delicious sweet iced coffee that has been blended with milk and espresso. You can also add other flavorings to suit your taste, (like the caramel in this recipe).

  • Caramel sauce – Use your favorite caramel sauce.
  • Ice – To cool and bring it all together.

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until very smooth.
  2. Pour into a cup that is lined with caramel sauce (if you want to be coffee house fancy).
  3. Garnish with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.

  • Add more espresso – if you want it stronger.
  • Add spices – Try adding spices like cinnamon and nutmeg or a spice blend like pumpkin pie spice. 
  • Replace the milk – Not a fan of dairy or just looking for a different flavor? Substitute the milk in the recipe with your favorite non-dairy milk. 
  • Top your frappe with cinnamon whipped cream. To make, beat together ½ cup of heavy cream, 1 tablespoon of confectioners sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon until it is light and fluffy. 
  • Don’t go overboard on the sweetener. Add a little sweetener at a time till you get it right.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons espresso coffee chilled
  • 1 ½ cup (355ml) milk
  • ½ cup (150g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce plus more for garnish (optional)

  • whipped cream for garnish (optional)

    Okay so I have tried DOZENS of recipes for this Caramel Frappe (trying to replicate the famous Starbucks of course) and have failed with every single one. But this? THIS?! THIS IS IT, FOLKS! This is THE recipe. How it doesn’t have more attention and ratings is beyond me! 100/10 by far!
