Why Make This Recipe
- Bold Flavors – Delicious spicy buffalo sauce and creamy blue cheese. Yum!
- Crowd Pleaser – Make a little or a lot. Everyone will love these Buffalo Chicken Cheese Fries.
- Use Leftovers – This is a great recipe for leftover chicken.
Ingredient Notes
- French Fries – Use your favorite style of frozen fries. Waffle fries, steak fries, seasoned fries–any fries will do. You can also reheat leftover fries from a takeout meal!
- Chicken – Leftover shredded chicken is perfect for this recipe. You can also use rotisserie chicken or cook one pound of boneless chicken breasts and shred it. For ease I also use canned chicken.
- Buffalo Sauce – Look for Buffalo sauce rather than just regular hot sauce. Buffalo sauce is usually a bit thicker than hot sauce.
- Cheddar Cheese – We like cheddar, but you can use what you have on hand or your favorite melting cheese such as mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack.
- Ranch Dressing – Have you ever wondered what the world would be like without ranch dressing?
- Blue Cheese – We’re adding crumbles of cool and creamy blue cheese. If you’re not a fan of blue cheese, you can leave it out. In a pinch, use a drizzle of blue cheese dressing instead.
