- 8 uncut whole frozen chicken wings or 16 frozen chicken wings separated
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C.
Place 8 whole frozen chicken wings directly into the air fryer basket, spreading them out as much as possible. You may have to cook in batches.
Cook for 20-25 minutes, turning the wings over halfway through the cooking time. For crispier wings, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, but keep an eye on them so they don't burn.
Remove the wings from the air fryer and season to taste or coat with sauce before serving.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. This will allow the air to circulate well and the wings will get nice and crispy.
- Cook frozen wings in batches depending on the size of your air fryer basket.
- No oil or nonstick spray is needed for this recipe.
- Flip the wings over approximately halfway through the cooking time.
- For crispier wings, add another minute or two to the cooking time.
- Always check for doneness with a meat thermometer. The temperature should be 165 degrees F / 74 degrees C when inserted into the thickest part of the chicken.
- Air fryer temperatures may vary slightly depending on the make and model. Start with less cooking time, check for doneness, then add more time as needed.
- Storage - keep leftovers in an airtight container inside the fridge for 3 days.
- There are 6 WW Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving of this.
