HOW TO MAKE Garlic Butter Pasta

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until slightly al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.

Heat the butter over  low-medium heat, add the minced garlic, and cook for about 60 seconds until fragrant.

Switch off the heat and add in the pasta, half of the reserved pasta water, lemon zest (if using), and cheese. Stir until well coated and creamy. Add more water as needed.

Season with salt and pepper, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve.
