WHY MAKE THIS RECIPE

Easy Cooking – Requires only 5 everyday pantry staples, minimal prep time and tastes amazing. Great for a Crowd – Double the recipe to feed a crowd as a snack. Pantry and Budget-Friendly – Make an affordable and delicious dip with ingredients you probably already have on hand.

INGREDIENT NOTES

Chicken – Use leftover shredded chicken breast. It can be chicken breasts from chicken that you cooked yourself or leftover store-bought rotisserie chicken. It is a great way to use cooked chicken. You can also use canned chicken. Buffalo Wings Sauce – Use a buffalo wings hot sauce such as Franks for the best flavor. Buffalo wing sauce is less spicer.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

Want hot and bubbly cheese on top? Scoop the dip into an oven-safe baking dish and pop it under the broiler in your oven. The dip is ready when the cheese starts to bubble.   This will cook up faster if you start with your cream cheese at room temperature.

DELICIOUS VARIATIONS

Add Blue Cheese – Blue cheese and buffalo wings go hand in hand. Sprinkle the top of the dip with crumbles of blue cheese or blue cheese sauce just before serving.   Loaded Buffalo Dip – Add sliced green onions and bacon for a loaded buffalo chicken dip.

BUDGET-FRIENDLY TIPS

Freeze leftover cup shredded chicken – Throw all leftover chicken into a freezer bag and keep adding to it until you have enough. If you have any leftover rotisserie chicken then you can easily shred it to make this dip.
