  • Meatballs – This recipe starts with cooked Italian meatballs made with ground beef. These can be store-bought or homemade.
  • Pita – These are the small bite-sized pita pockets. You can use larger pitas but will need more meatballs and veggies per pita.
  • Tomatoes – Choose ripe flavorful Roma tomatoes.
  • Cucumber – smaller cucumbers will work best in terms of flavor.
  • Caesar salad dressing – this can be store-bought or homemade.

How To Make Meatball Pita Pockets

  1. Cut the pitas to open them up.
  2. Slice the tomatoes and the cucumber and set them aside.
  3. Slice the cooked meatballs in half.
  4. Place a slice of tomato, a slice of cucumber, and half a meatball in a pita pocket, and top with Caesar dressing.
  5. Repeat until you have completed all of the sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 10 cooked Italian meatballs
  • 20 small pitas
  • 2 small Roma tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • Caesar salad dressing

Instructions

  • Slice the tomato and cucumber and set aside.
  • Cut the pitas to open them up.
  • Slice the meatballs in half.
  • Fill each pita with sliced tomato, cucumber, and a half of a meatball. Top with Caesar salad dressing.
  • When all of the pitas are assembled, serve and enjoy!
