How To Make Hot Cocoa Bombs

  1. Melt chocolate and coat silicone molds with at least two layers of chocolate.
  2. Refrigerate until solid (5 minutes or so) and then remove from the mold. 
  3. Fill one half with 2 tablespoons of cocoa mix and whatever extras you have, such as candy and marshmallows. 
  4. Gently press the edge of the empty half onto a hot plate or pan to just melt the chocolate.
  5. Join the two halves together to seal and repeat with the remaining halves.
  6. Decorate the outsides as desired. 
  7. When ready to serve, drop into a glass mug of steaming hot milk and watch the magic happen.

  1. Melt white chocolate and fill egg-shaped molds as directed above.
  2. Fill the eggs with cocoa mix and pastel-colored mini marshmallows.

  2. Fill spheres with peppermint hot cocoa mix, marshmallows, and a bit of crushed peppermint candies before sealing.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups (262g) white chocolate
  • 1 cup (100g) hot chocolate mix regular or flavored, depending on occasion
  • 1 cup (50g) mini marshmallows white or colored, depending on occasion
  • For decoration: colored melting chocolate (a couple tablespoons of each color), crushed candy, etc.

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate and spread it into the silicone molds, coating each cavity entirely with at least two layers of chocolate.
