Tips and Variations
- Adjust – whilst I have given measurements here you can add more cheese, more tomatoes etc depending on your likes and preferences.
- Vary the fruit and veggies – grapes, blueberries, dried cranberries, olives, pear slices, apple slices, cucumber slices, peppers, celery sticks and pomegranate seeds all work.
- Vary the cheese – Try all the cheeses you like eg Mozzarella, Monterey Jack, blue cheese and more. Also you can have a larger selection of cheeses.
- Add extras – Like ham and salami, nuts, pretzels, and dipping sauces. My parter likes dipping the cheese in sweet chili sauce or pesto.
- Fun shapes – Grab some flat cheese pieces and cookie cutters and make some cheese stars to top the tree and to do around.
- Use whatever board you have – If you don’t have a Christmas tree shaped board, simple use a regular board and place the items in the shape of a tree.
